Please note the Privacy Notice does not cover any third party site that can be visited by using the links provided on this site. They may, however, have their own privacy statements.

Personal data

Details given to us through a form or email will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. The details entered will only be held in connection with the email/request, unless requested by you or legally required to do so.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Please request this through the Contact Us page.

Cookies

We only currently use essential cookies, which are used to maintain logged in members between web pages and keep login attempts secure (see SECURITY below). Note these cookies are always enabled and required to login.

Statistics

We record pages views, the number of contact us form requests and downloads to help provide relevant content. This is done without using personally identifiable information. An anonymised IP address is used.

Security

This website employs security measures, a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to stop illegal access to sensitive areas. To achieve this a visitors IP address, browser and computer type (user agent string) is checked and held for 7 days.

GXCC Club Privacy Policy

Consent Form

We ask for your explicit consent to collect and store your data. GXCC uses two third party service providers which are based in the USA and hence are outside the protection of the UK data protection legislation. We ask for separate consents in each case to enable us to pass your data to these service providers.

GXCC has created a form to collect members data which can be requested from the Contact Us page and will be emailed to all new members. Instructions on filling the form in and returning it will be included with the form. We are required by the DPA to retain the form as proof that you have consented to our use of the data.
